We found that the tour was really, really great. The organization was perfect, and we are very impressed with the manner in which you set everything up. We felt very well "taken care of" and really appreciated everything - we are very happy that we chose A-Z for our tour, as it took all the hassle out of travelling and enable us to fully concentrate on discovering a new country and culture and having fun!
Some particular comments: the airport pickup and drop-off is great. We were taken care of with lightning speed, even filling out our immigration form for us. No stress, no questions to ask, nothing to figure out - great! Our Guide went above and beyond his described duties as a "guide" to really make our trip fantastic. The other guides (on the day trip to Alexandria, Hurghada and Cairo)were all fine and we have no complaints about them. But compared to them, there really is a difference. He went above and beyond the daily described activities in the itinerary and was always available, even in evenings or for afternoons, and had suggestions of things to do and restaurants to eat for us when we were doning "non-itinerary" things, and really made the trip a delight. He taught us about local life (and about tipping), made sure we were never "bothered" by locals or merchants, and dealt perfectly with every situation that came up (for example, when we found out the boat was sailing earlier than expected due to the lock schedule, he immediately managed to rearrange the activities to fit everything in, so that we were able to take our Felucca ride and visit the Nubian Village in the evening before sailing - activities that had been scheduled for the next morning. Not to mention his extensive knowledge of Egyptian History and ability to share it with us at every sight we saw. We thought the tour was great! We haven't stopped telling our friends and family about it, and we talk about the organization almost as much as the sights! Thank you SO MUCH for everything, and we will definitely get in touch with you again for our next "big trip.

saw so much in such a short time yet there was still time to relax
&
unwind. The 2 hotels with their superb views of the Nile (&
pyramids smog
permitting) were breathe taking. After we saw the Giza pyramids &
sphinx we
thought that was the highlight of our holiday, even though it was on
our first
day in Egypt & thought well that was it, but time after time other
things
equalled it & for the life of us we couldn't single out any of the
great
places we visited as THE highlight of our holiday, however, it would be
fair to
say the one thing that is captured in our memory was the horse ride
along the
banks of the river Nile with fine views of Luxor Temple on the other
side. You
can travel by 'plane, train & automobile as they say & dash
here &
there, but to have time relaxing, just to meander through the
countryside see
how the locals live then it opening up onto the river Nile was really
special.
I do hasten to add it was the first time I had been on horse back so
this is no

The
day of departure fires in LA prevented our domestic plane taking off so
we
missed our NZ connection which made us a day late arriving in Auckland
– The
only good thing about the delay is that all the other tour members were
delayed
too. Other than that the trip was fantastic. New Zealand is
truly a
design of God..Thanks again for all your help. If ever again we
plan a
trip A-Z will surely be our first choice.
Thanks
for arranging the India & Egypt trip. Both my husband & I
had
enjoyed the trip tremendously, especially with the traveling companions

I think Ed said it all. Thank you for putting a most enjoyable,

We

Our
India trip exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. Thanks in large

Sanjay. He is exceptionally good and I feel very comfortable that

foot, by rejecting the first bus that picked us up as not meeting his
standards. His Cultural insights added much to our trip.
His
invitation to the group to join his family and friends for a Dewali

was one of the highlights of the trip. Sanjay was very knowledgeable

very impressed with his ability to select top local tour guides. Sanjay
provided many extras which were greatly appreciated.
Our
trip to Egypt was very memorable and all had a great time. The
sights and
sound were very impressive. Of course Khaled made a huge difference in
our
trip. His knowledge of Egypt was extraordinary. His love and passion
for his
country, culture and religion was infectious and added to our
enjoyment..
Khaled was helpful dependable and very flexible. The many extras he
provided to
the group were exceptional. His little touch of giving the ladies of
our group
a flower for our farewell dinner demonstrated his attention to detail.
We
started out as a tour group, but Khaled made us feel like his guest and
finally
as friends.
We
had a wonderful trip. The Maritimes are beautiful and seeing
everything
by bus was a great way to do it. Everything went very
smoothly, No
delays caused by Hurricane Juan. It was really a fantastic
holiday.

We
had a great time and were blessed with great weather. We drove
around a
lot and took several hikes. The scenery was super and everyone
was very
friendly. I highly recommend Anton's in Wolfville and Piper's Landing
just
outside Pictou. Pictou Lodge & Auberge Giselle were both very
lovely.
All in all, we had a fantastic time. Thanks for

The

was a good holiday - long days though trying to cram in as much as we
could in
4 days was a lot. Next year we will take a few weeks to see

Very
good holiday. We didn't get chance to complete the survey before
leaving
Cairo so will do so in the next day or so and mail it to

On
the whole the tour was very good with the 4 day Nile cruise being
the highlight. In Egypt your agency did a good job for
us. We
had a good time.
We
had a great time. Everything we saw was wonderful and exciting to see
places
that I had only seen on the television. It was truly a wonderful
and
awesome experience.
Everyone
was pleasant and very cordial. We had a great tour agent from
Cosmos. He not only told us about the sites, we learned a little
more
about Greece and its people. The bus tour was great, we had some
exciting
moments especially when we thought the driver could not get through the
very
narrow streets. The Aegean ship cruise was excellent. The Royal
Olympic
was extraordinary. The food was great. The people and crew
were excellent too. I would take a cruise with them any
time.
I could go on. Thank you again for all of your help and assistance in
making
our trip a memorable one.
Every
thing was just great. The weather was just right, only rained
when we
were on the bus or in the hotel. Our tour guide, Debbie was
wonderful and
we would go on any tour that she was guiding.
The
trip was great! We probably did a little too much driving. The Gowrie
House was
fantastic. The Fisherman's Daughter was just as great. We could have
spent
several more days. All and all, a good time was had. Thanks

enjoyed our trip very much - thank you for arranging it for us.
We went
on two whale trips both with Mariner Cruises. Recommending Mariner
Cruises
would almost guarantee a great whale trip. There is also a hotel
on Brier
Island - Brier Island Lodge to stay at instead of driving back to Digby
each
night. Again thanks for doing the scheduling for us.
The
trip was lovely and all the accommodations were very nice. The Auberge
Giselle
was by far the loveliest room. Everyone we met in Nova Scotia was both
welcoming and pleasant.
Our
Egypt trip was everything we hoped for and much more. Abu Simbul
and
Philae were dazzling, as much for the fact that they were moved as for
their
inherent grandeur. The temples along the Nile certainly gave us
an
appreciation of the civilization that constructed them. And the
pyramids their
architectural splendor and their mystery were simply awesome. We
thoroughly
enjoyed the Nile River Cruise and the two days at Hurghada on the Red
Sea were
just what we needed to relax after 10 days on the go.
We found A-Z Tours after a web
search and it appealed to us because it included
excursions that were optional on other tours, yet the price was still
very
reasonable. I confess to being a little apprehensive at dealing almost
exclusively via email, but Avril, your prompt and complete responses to
our
questions eased my fears. The “small group” idea was particularly
enticing, but imagine our surprise when we found that we were the only
two
people on the tour. What a luxury!
All the arrangements went off
without a hitch, from being met at the
airport in Cairo and swept rapidly through immigration and to our
hotel,
through all of our subsequent travels until we were ushered through
airport
check in upon departure. Our hotels were all top notch and we
especially
enjoyed the swimming pools at the resorts in Giza and Hurghada!
We were extremely fortunate in
our Cairo guide. He not only gave us a
great deal of insight into ancient Egypt, but he talked with us at
length about
modern Egypt. Our discussions about similarities and differences
in our
two cultures were among the highlights of our trip. He realized
that we
were as interested in modern Egypt as we were in ancient . Egypt and he
went
out of his way to include some pertinent extras in our trip, including
coffee
at a village café where we were offered fresh grapes by men at a
neighboring
table, a night walking around downtown Cairo, and a ride on the Cairo
metro. He even made us a couple of CDs of Egyptian music. We had
a super
trip. Thanks so much.
Really
enjoyed the Cosmos tour through Nashville etc. Had a very good tour
leader and
a good bunch of people. We are going to contact Cosmos as our
local town, Gore, claims to be NZ's home of Country music.

The
trip was enjoyable but very hectic. The guides were very nice and we
enjoyed
their 1 on 1 attention that they were able to give us. You have 2 good
people
there for sure. We were especially thankful for getting us superb
balcony views
of the Nile from our hotels in Aswan & Luxor. On the night
before our
return to Canada, they got us a Pyramid view room. I asked for some
CD/DVD’s on
those places and our guide duly obliged...which was nice of him.
I would say that this whole Egypt trip requires a minimum of 2 wks. But
yes it
WAS enjoyable and we did get to video tape (camcorder) most of the
places so
that now we can look back on it and show to friends & family. I
have some
friends already asking about our Egypt tour.
My
parents enjoyed the trip to Florida. They are looking forward to having
a
similar type of escorted tour next summer in the west coast of America.

The
trip was absolutely wonderful; from the moment I arrived at Cairo
airport to
the sad moment that I left. Egypt was everything I've ever imagined and
so much
more. Apart from the pyramids and temples, etc., the food was good, the
people
invariably friendly and welcoming, and even the bathrooms were clean.
The so
called 4 star hotel actually put me in a huge suite!
Trip
was excellent. We feel we had an ultimate adventure. We loved our tour
guide.
He was the most flexible, knowledgeable, terrific person. He 's an
extraordinary, conscientious young man. We really appreciated him. He
referred
to me as "Isis." I guess I always knew I was a goddess.
We liked the room at the Middle East Hotel. It was a large suite, and
quite
comfortable. Same thing with the Bella Vista in Hurghada. Lovely
property, nice food, great pool. The Novotel in Luxor - their grounds
and pool
are lovely.

wonderful. Cabin stewards were just wonderful. All in all, this was the
adventure and trip I had hoped for, and loved learning about, and
exploring
ancient Egypt.
We
enjoyed every minute of our vacation. It was definitely a trip
that we'll
never forget! Hotel accommodations, the tour guides, and all the
sites
were wonderful. Thank you so much for arranging everything

trip an experience of a lifetime. We especially enjoyed

time with our tour guides. Their knowledge and hospitality

We found that the tour was really, really great. The organization

perfect, and we are very impressed with the manner in which you set

Vegas and

Greece
was wonderful and the accommodations very good. Our island
cruise and bus tour were very nice and well planned. Egypt was truly
the best
part of the trip! The agent was efficient, professional and
represented
you very well.
After traveling to Luxor by sleeper train, we arrived to join our
cruise at
5:30 AM. The Luxor travel rep was friendly. In Aswan we also
certainly
had a diligent escort called Noor, who was professional and charming
and represented
the companies well.
Everything else was just wonderful. The hotel in Cairo was
splendid and
our tour guide very good. The cruise was fabulous and the ship
very
nice. The agent was highly efficient in coordinating our
transfers and
letting us know what to do at every step of the way. We thought our
last night
in Athens would be at a very inexpensive motel at the airport. We
were
very, very surprised and impressed with the luxury of the
Sofitel. Thank

that you

Let me just start by saying Wow! Egypt is everything we
hoped it
would be and more. We could not possibly had a better time.
We had
an excellent guide in every way. He was very good about laying
out our
schedule to us in advance so that if there were any questions or
other things
we wanted to do he had time to take care of it. His knowledge of
the
sites was super. All of the guides we had were very
good but
one guide stood out from the rest. The guide from the boat
was
wonderful.
Let me stress once again we had and excellent time and speak very
highly of

Our travel with your arrangements was so wonderful. Right now we are
thinking
of doing a safari to Botswana in June. Our trip to Scandinavia was a
dream!!!

Egypt was beautiful. We truly enjoyed ourselves. I had been to many
countries
and Egypt ranked as one of the most beautiful. Below are some of my
comments.
The sight of the Pyramids at Giza and the Sphinx on our first day was
awesome.
We had seen many documentaries and read a lot about them but to really
be there
to see them is an incredible experience. Khaled and Mohammed were very
good
companions. The next day at Abu Simbel is another unforgettable
experience. In
fact, this is the monument that I wanted to see most in Egypt and we
were not
let down. Karnak Temple is another magnificent monument that took our
breath
away. Overall, we had a real good time. The guides were good and
knowledgeable.

Zain,
Saeed and everyone else.
Our trip to Egypt was wonderful. Meeting Khaled, with his knowledge of
Cairo
made it a high light.
We had the best holiday ever! Being the only ones that week also added
to the
pleasure. I have to admit I was very wary @ first, having nothing
tangible
about our holiday other than a few emails. Booking flights, HOPING
someone
would be @ the other end, however I am delighted my "doubting Thomas"
thoughts were totally unwarranted & we had the most superb holiday.
The way the week was organised was great & to readjust the week
when I
failed to report for duty on Monday was much appreciated & don't
feel we
missed much as a consequence. The knowledgeable guides, Khaled &
Ahmed made
the tour much more interesting & gave us a much better
understanding &
appreciation of what we were seeing. Our gopher Mohammed & the
drivers were
also great. Every one treated us as individuals rather than just
another an
coach load of sheep being herded here & there (I know it would have
been
difficult to herd us like sheep when there was only 2 of us but you
know what I
mean).
We have 15 rolls of film we are eagerly waiting to see & put in an
album
before we forget what was where, but we'll never forget this holiday.

The trip to Egypt was absolutely, positively amazing. Jennifer and I

(Luxor: Hassan, Raymond, Ahmed) were all professional and full of
knowledge. We

The trip was excellent. The excellent guides who adapted the tour meant
that I
could fully appreciate the various sites visited. The organizers within
Aswan
were very helpful and appreciable. The guides in Luxor and Cairo were
excellent
with very high levels of knowledge as well as English skills. The time
allocated for some parts could be reviewed with some days being
combined. The
accommodation was excellent but the food was variable.
We had a great time. Didn't much like the Miami weather but the cruise
line was
just absolutely super. Our first cruise and we would definitely choose
them
again. Continental Airlines was great. Thank you for all you help.
We had a memorable trip to Egypt, with many highlights. The Sherry Boat
with
Saad as a guide was fantastic - and we loved that view from the
Cairotel. Lots
of pleasant memories - great place.
I did enjoy our trip and
Khaled, Asruf, Mohammad, and Abdula (all probably mispelled!!) were
great
guides. I commend them all. Doing a trip like this in a small group was
